Have A Question? We Can Help!

How long does shipping take?

Most orders ship within 1-2 business days and arrive within 5-7 business days. You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. Our support team is available weekdays 9am-5pm at support@preparedhero.com or +1 (888) 457-2672 if you have questions about your order.

What if I am not satisfied?

Every order is backed by our 30-Day HERO Guarantee. If you are not completely happy with your purchase for any reason, simply send it back within 30 days for a full refund. No questions asked, no hassle.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All transactions are protected by 256-bit SSL encryption, the same security standard used by major banks. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. Your information is never stored or shared.

How does it work? Do I need to do anything to set it up?

It is as simple as it gets. Just plug the Prepared Hero™ Backup Light into any standard wall outlet. That is it. It charges automatically while the power is on, and the moment power fails it turns on by itself. No switches, no settings, no instructions needed.

Where are the best places to put these in my home?

We recommend one in every bedroom, one in each hallway, and one near any staircase. These are the places where someone moving around in the dark is most likely to get hurt. Many families also keep one in the kitchen and bathrooms. The 4-pack and 6-pack options let you cover the whole home at once.

Will my grandchildren be able to use this if they are staying over?

Absolutely. Because it activates automatically, no one has to do anything when the power goes out. The light just comes on. Even young children and older adults with limited mobility benefit from the instant, hands-free activation. There is nothing to remember and nothing to press.

Can I use it as a regular flashlight even when the power is not out?

Yes. The Prepared Hero™ Backup Light detaches from the wall outlet and works as a fully portable LED flashlight for up to 10 hours. It is a great option for the garage, checking on things outside at night, or keeping in a bag when traveling.
